OUR STORY

Director and Principle Consultant of Specialist Arbor Services Pty Ltd is Sam Carr, Sam is committed to tertiary education, starting out in tree industry over 14 years ago.

​

He began his career as a Climbing Arborist in the UK gaining a Level 3 in Forestry and Arboriculture, working across the private, commercial and local government sectors. 

 

After 5 years gaining the relevant practical skills, he moved to Bermuda and worked for the lead Vegetation management company on the Island undertaking a vast range of practical tree work including, Tree Transplants & Relocation, Canopy Bracing, Crane Removal and Pruning. 

 

Sam completed his Foundation Science Degree attaining a world recognised Level 5 in Arboriculture and Tree Management and began Consulting back in the UK. 

 

Since moving to Australia in 2018 he has worked within Local government organisations and along side private Tree contractors and Independent Consultants. 

After becoming a Permanent Resident, buying a home, starting a family and working in Australia for several years, he decided to undertake the RPL process and underwent the relevant training to attain an AQF 5 Diploma of Arboriculture.

 

Sam prides himself on having the skills and knowledge to understand how crucial it is to be thorough when conducting assessments, documenting tree physiology data and the associated impacts to trees from their immediate environment. 

 

 

Sam and his family resides on the cusp of the Sunshine Coast/ Fraser Coast with his young family and when not at work, enjoys the outdoors.
